Brandmark

The emblem on its own, for places where the name is already established — app icons, avatars, favicons, a repeated header. Never redraw it or set it beside a typed-out “Cantina”; that is what the primary logo is for.

Wordmark

The Cantina name set on its own, for lockups where the emblem would crowd the space or already appears elsewhere in the layout.

Secondary brandmark

The contained emblem without the wordmark. Built for small, framed placements — profile images, stickers, and tiles where the artwork needs a defined edge.

Core palette

Five core colours plus one neutral complementary background. The system is built dark-first, with a light variant applied depending on the context of use. Each colour serves a defined, fixed function, which is what keeps application predictable across the brand.

  • Navy #011523 rgb(1, 21, 35)
  • Aqua #51A5B3 rgb(81, 165, 179)
  • Mars #B7392D rgb(183, 57, 45)
  • Solar #FF9A4E rgb(255, 154, 78)
  • Sand #F2EBD1 rgb(242, 235, 209)

Tints and shades

Four of the five core colours carry a lighter tint and a darker shade. Tints work as subtle backgrounds, fills, and secondary elements where the base colour would be too intense; shades give depth where more contrast is needed. Navy is the exception — it anchors the system and has no tint or shade.

  • Aqua Tint #BDE0E4 rgb(189, 224, 228)
  • Aqua Base #51A5B3 rgb(81, 165, 179)
  • Aqua Shade #182C34 rgb(24, 44, 52)
  • Mars Tint #EC877D rgb(236, 135, 125)
  • Mars Base #B7392D rgb(183, 57, 45)
  • Mars Shade #441206 rgb(68, 18, 6)
  • Solar Tint #FFD5A8 rgb(255, 213, 168)
  • Solar Base #FF9A4E rgb(255, 154, 78)
  • Solar Shade #DB4E11 rgb(219, 78, 17)
  • Sand Tint #F9F6ED rgb(249, 246, 237)
  • Sand Base #F2EBD1 rgb(242, 235, 209)
  • Sand Shade #D7B96D rgb(215, 185, 109)

Pantone equivalents

For print and offset work each core colour has a defined Pantone equivalent. Use these when commissioning print production so the mark holds its colour across technologies. The hex shown is the screen approximation of the Pantone, not the digital brand colour — reach for the core palette above on screen.

  • Navy Pantone 7547 C #161F28 rgb(22, 31, 40)
  • Aqua Pantone 2233 C #66A9AA rgb(102, 169, 170)
  • Mars Pantone 7620 C #BA2E29 rgb(186, 46, 41)
  • Solar Pantone 4009 C #E79346 rgb(231, 147, 70)
  • Sand Pantone White #FFFFFF rgb(255, 255, 255)

Using the Cantina brand

Choosing a version

Lead with the primary logo — it is the full lockup and the one people recognise. Use the brandmark or wordmark alone only where the other half already appears in the same view, and reach for the secondary, contained versions when the artwork sits over photography or any busy surface that would break the open mark's silhouette.

Backgrounds

Every variant is drawn for a specific ground, shown behind it in the previews above. Pick the one that matches your background rather than recolouring, inverting, or knocking out a version by hand.

On a mid-tone or photographic background, use a negative or contained variant so the mark keeps a defined edge.

Clear space and size

Keep clear space around the logo on all four sides equal to the height of the brandmark, and hold nothing else — type, rules, image edges — inside it.

Below roughly 24 pixels tall the emblem's interior detail closes up. Use the brandmark alone at those sizes rather than shrinking the full lockup.

What not to do

Do not recolour, stretch, rotate, crop, outline, or add shadows and effects to the artwork. Do not re-typeset the wordmark, rebuild the lockup with different spacing, or place the logo on a colour that leaves it low-contrast.

Do not use Cantina's marks in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor, or are affiliated with a product, service, or organisation without written agreement.
